I hired Santiago to fix my backsplash since I changed my microwave to a smaller size and was left with an ugly looking whole in the wall. He came on time and did an amazing job! My backsplash looks like new. I highly recommend Santiago and his company.

We worked with Santiago and Montemayor General Contracting on a bathroom remodel in early 2022. Very happy to recommend Santiago and his team: high quality of work, on time, on budget, no surprises. Santiago regularly updated us on progress and openly talked through our options for the reno we were doing. It was a sensitive project - the bathroom was only done 3 years ago, however we unfortunately had a leak, so Santiago came in, ripped up the tile floor, installed a curbed shower on our request (to replace the curbless with linear drain that was installed incorrectly), tiled, and reinstalled our existing vanity and toilet. All the work was done with care and precision. He is very honest and open, with quality work. I would not hesitate to contact Santiago for future projects and have recommended him to several friends already.

In the weeks that followed, Santiago and the Montemayor General Contracting Team lived up to that initial review, going above and beyond to renovate our two wildly outdated bathrooms. I live in a small semi in Toronto and wanted to maximize the bathrooms. Santiago's recommendations and suggestions helped open the spaces, improve the flow and they're now absolutely beautiful. They reconfigured the layout, moved plumbing, completed beautiful tile work and modernized the spaces above and beyond expectation. He took great care of our home outside of the bathroom, trying to limit the spread of dust and debris throughout the house. Montemayor contracting completed a bathroom renovation for us. We found the Montemayor team great to work with. They were punctual, clean and tidy, and we were happy with the finished bathroom. One thing that we found sets Montemayor apart is that there is a great administrator who keeps you organised with dates, picking your tiles etc, and with the billing. Communication and organization was excellent. We had a few minor adjustments that needed to be made at the end of the project (nothing out of the ordinary). Salvatore was responsive and extremely fast to tie up all loose ends.

We really enjoyed working with Santiago and the Montemayor team. They are good communicators - they provide updates on their work, they escalate issues or questions as they arise and they consult with the homeowner/sponsor before making any decisions or assumptions. They are also very courteous - making sure they're giving lots of heads up if they're coming to work during off hours, cleaning up at the end of each day. Finally, their quality of work is great - we are very happy with the end result and are really enjoying our new spaces in our home. Laundry room and basement wall. Santiago stood out from the beginning as very communicative and open, he was very transparent about the quote and very responsive. His team was always on time, polite and kept the house tidy. Although towards the end of the project there were some finishes we were not happy with, Santiago made sure these were remedied and done to our satisfaction. He is a very honest and trustworthy person who cares about the quality of his work. We will be happy to work with him again in the future.

We hired Montemayor General Contracting for a home renovation project (demolition of existing fireplace, retiling fireplace, drywall, painting), and would absolutely recommend them. I had the pleasure of working with Montemayor General Contracting on two bathroom renos in my home. I never thought I'd associate the word "reno" with "pleasure" but that's how I felt upon the completion of this four-week job. I'm very pleased with the results! Santiago and his team were efficient, professional and easy to work with. I knew I'd hired the right company when the crew arrived and began covering my floors in protective blue floor mats - starting from my back door and all the way upstairs. From there, the work progressed speedily without interruption. The crew and tradespeople arrived on time and worked hard.
